Congrats to Cassandra Rebutoc for receiving pledge of the week!
Cassandra is a sophomore English major. When asked her favorite memory of APO, she responded, ” all of install because being a transfer student I didn’t really know anybody and UT was very foreign to me. Joining APO, I found so many friendly, incredible people that helped me find my place in UT.” Cassandra is pledge of the week because she stepped up and took over a GSU teaching position last minute, which helped with the overall success of Girl Scout University!

Meredith is a freshman majoring in Aerospace Engineering. Her favorite APO memory is Bowling with bRhos because she was able to make some new friends and had a really fun time! She is Pledge of the Week because she was noticed by PTC for how hard she has been working in getting her service hours!
Congrats to Mehdi Abdullah for receiving pledge of the week!
Mehdi is a first year economics major. His favorite APO memory is winning Pledge Fellowship co-chair with his friend Nathan Rooney. Mehdi received Pledge of the Week for attending and participating in almost all of the APO events that week even though he had a really bad migraine!

Alex is a first-year undecided student. However, he is interested in Architecture . His favorite memory from APO is MBU and MBU overnight. He is pledge of the week for being extremely active in service this past week and for his impact while cleaning up at the Creek!

Haley is a second year Korean major and her favorite memory is going to pledge retreat, staying up until 5 in the morning, and meeting loads of new people. She is pledge of the week because she is super helpful with the pledges and was a great asset at MBU!
Congrats to Farwa Hassan for receiving Pledge of the Week!
Farwa is currently a first year student studying Economics. Farwa received Pledge of the Week because she went outside of her comfort zone by initiating games and making an effort to learn everyone’s name at pledge retreat. Her favorite APO memory is pledge retreat because she got to meet so many awesome people.
This week’s Pledge of the Week is, Rachel West! Rachel is a first year biology major who joined our pledge program this semester. She was awarded this week’s Pledge of the week because Rachel emobides the cardinal principals of APO and she has been incredibely decidated to our flag events (as seen in her picture). In her free time, she loves to go sailing and play violin and as a now, new active she is most excited about continuing to make friends in APO.
Congrats to this week’s Pledge of the Week, Jessica Dai! Jessica is a 3rd year International Relations and Government (IRG) major and has already hit tier 3 status as a pledge with more than 125 volunteer hours! In her free time, she just likes hanging out with friends coming to all the events we host! She’s most excited about making friends, attending our banquet and getting to work with recruitment next semester to get other potential members to join APO.
Congrats to this week’s Pledge of the Week, Karina Gonzalez! Karina is a 4th year pre-med/nutrition major. She was awarded Pledge of the Week this week for going above and beyond to help for blood drive this week by encouraging others to join, and volunteering for the morning shifts even if there wasn’t anyone else signed up. Something she likes to do for fun is go shopping for supplies at Marshalls or office stores. She is most excited about getting to meet other people that are just as passionate about service as she is.
This week our pledge of the week is Ray Curiel! Ray is a third year Government and English major. He was recently elected as secretary for his pledge class and was awarded Seg because he contacted several vendors in order to get the best prices and to make the best Heismsyer pledge class shirt. He’s most excited to join APO to join his family and to volunteer in the Austin community.
