About Us

The objective of the Alpha Rho Chapter is to carry out a full program of community service for the UT student body and faculty, the community of Austin, and the nation.

So what exactly are we all about? Yes, Alpha Phi Omega is a fraternity, but let’s not jump to conclusions just yet. There are a few things that set us apart from the rest:

It’s a service fraternity.  Alpha Phi Omega isn’t like your typical social fraternity. We are proudly UT’s premier service organization on campus. In Leadership, Friendship, and Service, Alpha Phi Omega offers a community for students across every different discipline at UT while participating in community service.

It’s open to anyone. Pretty much what it states. Anyone can join, especially you!

It’s a national organization. APO is the largest co-ed service fraternity in the world, with more than 256,000 members on 687 campuses across the nation.
